There are several ways of dealing with stubborn pen drives. One of the best ways to deal with a stubborn pen drive is to format it. Formatting a stubborn pen drive through my computer is not an effective way to deal with such pen drives. The best way to format your stubborn pen drive is using command prompt (CMD).

Below are the steps to follow:

1. Click Start at the left button of your pc.
2. Type "Run" in the search box
3. Upon opening, type "CMD" in the Box and press Enter
4. Type the below command in  "CMD"

• format /q /x G: and press Enter. You will be asked to press enter to proceed.

Das it your pen drive is formatted and you are ready to use.
